NSIT - Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Dwarka was established in the year 1983 with a view to churn out highly competent, intelligent and dedicated engineers, the institute has more than achieved its motto by emerging as one of the leading tech schools of the country and was earlier known by the name Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT). The institute is affiliated to University of Delhi,Faculty of Technology. The institute today is making foray into the newer areas of academic endeavours in tune with the changing times.
Campus :- The NSIT campus is located in Dwarka, in South West Delhi.Beautifully landscaped campus is spread over 145 acres. The campus has Administrative Building, Academic Buildings, Library Building, Boys Hostels, Girls Hostels, Faculty, Officers and staff residences. The campus also offers amenities like staff club, Dispensary, Shopping Centre, Kiosks, Banks, Post Office, Telephone Exchange, Playing fields, etc. Events :- Moksha'11, the most eagerly awaited annual cultural extravaganza of Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, NSIT Admission Process :- Admissions to NSIT are held under a Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) by the University of Delhi. The candidates successful in the examination are eligible for admission to the First Semester B.E. course at NSIT. Placement :- The placement service at the institute is one of the best of its kind in the country. NSIT offers placement assistance to its students.
